Puppets and stop go animation have been a fun source of video content. It started with the video for "SOS" where I designed some puppets and had them 'lip sync' to the music video.

The puppets themselves are built on a big popsicle stick. The body is defined by copper wires, and covered in 'Fimo' a bake-able clay. On the main puppet, I had the mouth as a separate piece, in order to move along with the lyrics.

On the 'Overcoat' music video, I used more 'stop go animation' for the cooking sequences, and then puppetry for any lip sync or so forth. The main 'set' for overcoat was the Swedish Chef kitchen.

On 'books on horticulture' again, a mix of stop go and puppetry. Here's some behind the scenes for that video.
